These resources have been collected from a variety of sources, not all of which have been acknowledged on the documents. Many I have created myself, however there are some which are adaptations of documents created by David Hornsby and Deb Sukarna, some have been sourced on the internet and others have been shared by colleagues over the years. I thank them for their generosity of spirit.

All documents relate to comprehension strategies which must be explicitly modelled and taught before students are ready to work on them independently. They are suitable as reading responses to use in individual reading response journals or as whole class responses to a shared reading text. Please refer to references page for any background information on these strategies, and for teaching and learning ideas and suggestions.
